Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at
12 Noon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
Full day City Tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate (War
Memorial), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's
House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat and
Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru,
Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
Morning
transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra. Assistance on arrival
and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon City Tour visiting the world famous Taj
Mahal and Agra Fort. City sightseeing tour visiting the world famous Taj Mahal
built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to
enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of
Private and Public audience and other palaces. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Agra - Jaipur
Morning leave Agra by surface for Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (40
kms.) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity
of water. See the graceful building including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim
Chishti, Panch Mahal and other palaces. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort with elephant ride. Amer Fort, the ancient
capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the Hall of victory
glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant
back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Afternoon City Tour of Jaipur.
Half day city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory.
Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds and through the rose-pink residential
and business areas of Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Delhi
Morning leave Jaipur by surface for Delhi. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Leave Delhi
In time transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
